April 8-11, 2024 – The Tibetan Sacred Arts Tour with seven delegates/monks is coming to Morro Bay on April 8! This unique and immersive experience offers a glimpse into Tibetan Buddhist culture, featuring the creation and dissolution of a sacred sand mandala, insightful meditation talks, and more!

Daily opening Ceremony at 9:15 am & Closing Ceremony 3:50 pm

Witness the Enchantment of Mandala Creation

Monday through Thursday, the monks will meticulously create a breathtaking Green Tara sand mandala, which represents compassion, harmony, peace and impermanence. Led by Geshe Chaeden, each day will include an opening and closing ceremony. Doors will be open to visitors to view the creation of the mandala Monday-Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Experience the Power of Sound Healing

Join us on Tuesday, April 9th for a special Tea Ceremony Puga featuring a special sound healing session with Jon and Natalie intermixed with traditional Tibetan instruments and chanting to create a deeply relaxing and transformative experience.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

Donations are welcome for the viewing, requesting private or business blessings, or attending special meditations or a sound healing event. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Tibetan refugee community and the Drepung Gomang Monastery in South India, helping preserve their sacred traditions and culture. Throughout the week, daily visitors can visit a marketplace featuring beautiful handcrafted goods created by Tibetan artisans.
