Finding Presence Through Standing Poses

The way we stand matters. Finding balance in standing poses requires focus, strength, and equanimity. It requires an anchoring in the here and now and helps us to be fully present for our lives. Through placing the body in different standing positions, we are shape shifting for presence. Through intelligent sequencing, we will explore variations of tree pose, dancer pose, eagle pose, half moon pose, bird of paradise, warrior poses and more. Expect to leave with an understanding of how the standing poses relate to one another, and a toolkit of go-to actions for strength, grace and poise in each individual standing pose.
